Behind the Blooms & Bees

Why we’re reviving a farm, one petal and pollinator at a time.

Our why

Glenburnie Farm is more than a plot of land—it’s a love story between heritage and hope.

Nestled in Norfolk County, Ontario, this 100-year-old farm is being lovingly revitalized by a new generation passionate about flowers, bees, and the quiet magic of rural life.

Our focus is simple yet rich: bees and blooms. This means creating pollinator-friendly gardens, producing wildflower honey, and crafting cut flower arrangements in vintage vases. From sweet peas to dahlias, our flowers are grown slowly and seasonally—never rushed and always cherished.

We believe in beauty rooted in healthy soil, thoughtful stewardship, and meaningful connections. We’re building something lasting—not just a farm but a place where you can come to learn, linger, and fall in love with the land.

Whether you’re picking up a bouquet, participating in a workshop, or visiting during the growing season, we hope Glenburnie brings a little wonder to your everyday life.

About Glenburnie Farm

A century of soil, stories, and stewardship.

Initially settled in the early 20th century, Glenburnie Farm has deep roots in Norfolk County’s agricultural history. Once a working farm serving the local community, it sat quietly for years, waiting for its next chapter. Now, its barns, fields, and orchards are being gently restored, with care taken to honour its legacy while planting seeds for a more sustainable future.

We’re committed to preserving the land and giving back to the community. Every jar of honey, every bunch of blooms, and every hand-tied bouquet tells a story of place, a story we’re proud to continue.

As Glenburnie grows, we plan to share not only what we produce but also what we’ve learned through educational resources, seasonal workshops, and open farm days. This land has so much to teach us; we can’t wait to share it with you.
